The train chugged into Rajgarh station right around 3 PM.The sun beat down hot on the dusty platform.Sanskriti stepped off slowly with her small bag in hand. She looked around and saw the family car waiting there.
The driver stood by the door.He waved at her with a smile.Mona grabbed her in a big, tight hug.
"Take care of yourself, yaar.Write to me soon, okay?"
Sanskriti hugged her back just as tight.
Her voice came out soft.
"Goodbye,Mona.Have a safe journey home."Mona stepped back and shook the driver's hand quick.
"You take good care of her, uncle."
The driver nodded. "Of course, beti.Don't worry."
Sanskriti climbed into the car.She looked out the window one last time.
Mona stood on the platform waving both hands high.Sanskriti waved back until the car turned the corner. The station faded away behind them.
The car stopped at the grand mansion gates in Rajgarh around 4 PM.The driveway crunched under the tires.Guards saluted.
Sanskriti stepped out with her bag.Marble steps led to tall pillars and neat lawns. Her mother came down fast from the verandah. Her silk saree moved with quick steps.
"Sanskriti!" She hugged her short and hard.
She held Sanskriti's pale face. Her eyes were strict. "You look weak.Go freshen up now.
Inside the big hall, lights shone from chandeliers.Portraits hung on walls.
His father looked up from his desk.He smiled. "Welcome home my princess."
Sanskriti smiled at his father and went upstairs.
Sanskriti climbed the wide stairs to her room.
Big windows let in soft light.Silk curtains swayed light.A large bed sat in the center with fresh sheets. She set her bag down slow.
In the attached bath, she turned on the water.
Warm streams fell over her skin.Travel dust washed away. She dried off with a soft towel.
Her pale face gained pink color. She felt clean and calm now.
Sanskriti stood before her mirror after the bath.
She combed her wet hair slow.Thoughts of Ved filled her mind. His smile at the station warmed her heart.
But home rules pressed heavy now.Her mother set firm rules. No late nights and always look presentable, dressed well,no loud conversation no laugh and many more.Family tea in the garden each evening. No excuses.Sanskriti sighed soft.
She slipped into a beautiful pink dress. It flowed soft around her.A mix of joy and worry stirred inside.Home felt safe but tight. She walked down ready for tea time.
Sanskriti walked down to the garden.
The evening sun cast long shadows on the green lawn.A white table sat ready with tea cups and plates.
Her mother poured hot tea.Father sat in a chair.Mother looked at her."Sit straight, Sanskriti. How was the train?"
Sanskriti nodded. "Fine, Maa.Long but okay."
Father smiled. "Good to have you home.Eat the biscuits."
They sipped tea quiet.Home rules felt tight around her heart.
Her mother sipped slow. Then she asked sharp."How were the exams, dear? Did you do well in all subjects?"
Sanskriti nodded quick."Yes, Ma.All papers went good with good Result soon."
Father added soft."Proud of you.Now focus on future plans."
Mother set her cup down firm. Her voice turned strict."College is fine for you.But from tomorrow, learn poetry and literature. Also household governance. No wild ways.Proper skills for home."
Sanskriti's heart sank light. She nodded quiet. The evening air felt heavier now.
Sanskriti looked down at her tea cup.Her hands twisted the dupatta edge. She took a deep breath.
"Yes, Maa i will learn poetry and literature. Household governance too."Her voice stayed soft and calm.
Inside, dreams of medical college tugged at her heart. She hoped to ask later.for now,she nodded yes
In kuru,
Atharva and Shaurya held their rifles tight as cold dawn broke over the Kuru camp All men armed up fast with rifles slung and pistols loaded.Commander Vikram stood tall at the front.
He held a map and pointed to two ridges where enemies hid."Go hard and quiet,"Vikram ordered strong.
"Attack from high ground. No prisoners if they fight.End them now."
The men nodded with fire in their eyes.Atharva led the right side up the rocky path.Shaurya took the left side steady. They climbed quick through bushes and sharp stones.Hearts beat fast as battle came near.
Smoke rose thin from the enemy camp below. They crested the ridge.Rifles aimed true.First shots rang out loud. The fight began.
Bullets flew thick as the Kuru men charged down the ridge.Enemies scattered in panic from their camp.Atharva fired steady, dropping two foes quick Shaurya flanked left, his shots clean and true.
Smoke filled the air from burning tents.Shouts mixed with rifle cracks.
Commander Vikram yelled orders sharp. "Push forward! No retreat!"The enemy line broke fast under the surprise attack.
Atharva grabbed a wounded enemy by the collar."Where's your leader?"The man spat blood but pointed to a tent.Shaurya covered him as they advanced.Victory edged close in the dawn light.
Commander Vikram kicked open the tent flap. Inside,no leader waited.Just maps and papers lay scattered on the ground.Atharva checked the back.
"Gone. He ran in the chaos."Papers showed western spy marks. They came north to steal Kuru secrets on camps and plans.
Shaurya crumpled one."Spies only.Leader slipped away before we hit."
Vikram cursed low."Round up these rats. Interrogate hard.Send word back.Western border tightens now."
Kuru men tied prisoners tight.Smoke cleared slow.Victory mixed sour with the escape.
Atharva and Shaurya sat in their small tent room after the raid.A single lamp flickered on the table.
Dust still clung to their clothes.Shaurya grinned first."Good work today, brother. We smashed those spies fast."
Atharva nodded and laughed low."Small victory, yes.Leader got away, but we took their maps.Kuru stays safe for now."
Atharva leaned back."Next time,we catch him too.Southern dogs won't sneak again."
They clinked water cups. The win felt good in the quiet night.
Atharva set his cup down with a sigh. His grin turned playful as he leaned forward.
"Shaurya, you know...I miss those college days sometimes. It's been a full year in this camp now.All that fun sneaking out for late-night feasts!"
Shaurya paused his rifle cleaning, face stern as stone."College pranks won't guard our lands, brother. Duty weighs heavier than memories.
Atharva chuckled naughty, eyes twinkling. "Lighten up! Dreams keep a man sharp.Like that time we hid fireworks in the dean's desk?"
Shaurya was amused at his friend, who stayed so playful even after that crazy encounter with those spies.
Soon, talk faded. They blew out the lamp and went to sleep on simple cots. The roomt fell quiet under the starry camp night.
In Rajgarh Palace,
In the grand halls of Rajgarh palace Gauravi beamed with joy.She is the sister of Atharva and Vikrant.Elders fixed her marriage to the prince of Vatsal. The engagement ceremony comes the day after tomorrow.
Guests prepare with music and flowers. Rageshwari Devi nodded firm. She sent the invitation to Atharva at the military camp.A trusted guard rode fast with the gold-sealed letter.
"He must come for his sister's big day" she thought.
Mandira frowned in her chamber.
She did not want Atharva there. "He brings bad luck"her mind hissed.Hate twisted her gut.His presence might spoil her schemes.
She whispered to spies. "Stop him on the road." But Rageshwari moved quick. The guard slipped her watch.Vikrant stood quiet by the window.Mixed feelings stirred deep.
He admired Atharva's camp strength from tales.Yet envy burned.
Gauravi loves both her brothers equally with a deep family heart. But her bond with Atharva feels much more special. They stand just two years apart in age.Shared secrets and laughs tie them close.Vikrant being older makes her a bit shy around him.She hesitates in his strong presence.Yet joy for her engagement warms them all.
Deep in the dusty heart of Kuru military camp the royal guard arrived in a sleek black car.Dust rose from the tires as it halted sharp.Horns blew to call all eyes.Atharva trained hard with sword in hand.Sweat gleamed on his skin. The captain barked his name.
"Prince Atharva to the command tent now."
Atharva wiped his brow and strode forward.Soldiers parted with respect.Inside the tent the guard bowed low.He held out the gold-sealed letter from Rageshwari Devi.
"Your sister Gauravi's engagement to Vatsal's prince. Ceremony in two days. She needs you there."
Atharva's eyes lit with rare joy. Gauravi his close shadow two years younger.Their bond ran deep from childhood games.
He nodded firm. "I drive at dawn."
At dawn's first light Atharva slid into the sleek black car beside the royal guard.Engine roared to life as they sped from Kuru military camp.dust trailed behind on the rough road.
Thoughts swirled of Gauravi's smile and their shared childhood laughs.
"Hurry brother" her letter begged.
The palace drew near with every mile. The guard was driving silently and watchful for traps.
Mandira's spies lurked in whispers. But joy pulled Atharva home strong.
Mandira's spies lay in wait on the shadowed road. They planned a deadly ambush for the black car.But Rageshwari Devi foresaw the danger. She warned the royal guard in secret.
Two cars waited identical in color and make. The spies watched the first one pass. They struck too soon and missed. In the middle of the forest Atharva and the guard switched cars fast.
The real one sped on hidden paths. No one saw the trick.Tension eased as palace gates gleamed ahead. The guard smiled faint.
"Safe now prince. Her wisdom shields us."Atharva stepped out strong at Rajgarh palace.Joy awaited with Gauravi's embrace.
Rajgarh palace burst with joy for Gauravi's engagement.Garlands of marigold and jasmine draped every arch.Guests laughed in silk finery as musicians played lively tunes.Drums beat strong and dancers swirled in bright colors.
The air smelled of sweet ladoos and fresh rosewater.Lamps glowed warm against the evening sky.Atharva entered tall and strong from camp trials.Dust still clung to his boots.
Gauravi spotted him first. She ran forward eyes shining.
"Brother!"she cried hugging him tight.A year apart melted in her warm hold.Their special bond lit her face."You came safe" she whispered glad.
Rageshwari Devi approached with a mother's proud smile. She touched his cheek soft.
"My brave son welcome home."Her eyes held quiet thanks for the guard's tale.
The king watched from afar. His face stayed cold in public view. But hidden pride flickered deep. Mandira stood stiff lips thin. She forced a nod but hate simmered inside.
Vikrant clapped his shoulder firm."Good to see you brother." Words hid his mixed heart.Family gathered close in the happy glow.
After greetings with his family finished Atharva started his black car.The engine roared to life. He drove fast through the busy roads. He headed straight to meet his close friends Yuvash and Devika.
Atharva parked his car near the bustling theatre set.Spotlights cut through the night.Crew members rushed with props and cameras.
Yuvash and Devika stood ready as side characters in their movie.Their camp bond felt like family.Yuvash saw him first and ran up grinning. He slapped Atharva's back hard.Devika hurried over with a bright smile. She hugged him tight.Laughter broke the tension.
"Brother you made it from camp hell?"Yuvash asked eyes wide with joy.
Devika stepped back laughing."Look at you all muscled up! Camp turned you into a hero or what? Spill the fun stories."
Atharva smiled deep."Tough drills but worth it.How's your fight scene? Side stars stealing the show?"
Yuvash struck a dramatic pose under the spotlight mimicking his side role.
"Behold the mighty warrior of the shadows! I swing my prop sword and yell For the kingdom!while the hero gets all the glory.Side characters like us? We die heroically in act three.Pure genius right?" He rolled his eyes with a sarcastic grin.
Devika burst out laughing slapping his arm."You're such a drama king.At least my dancer role gets fancy spins.atharva you should see us steal the scene tomorrow."
Atharva shook his head with a firm smile."Sounds epic.Join me tomorrow at Gauravi's engagement ceremony.
"Yuvash grinned wide punching his arm light. "Free palace food and dances?Count us in.
Side characters crashing royal events our best role yet."
Devika eyes sparkled excited. "We'll be there in our finest.Drive safe back Atharva."
